Each can be used for DF65 and DF95 sails. Please be sure to state on your order which sail film is to be used to make your sails.

B rigs in translucent film, taped jib luff.

Available in 50 microns only.
Ideal for all DF95 sails, A, B, C and D rigs.
The appearance is milky enough for the sails to be easily seen on the racecourse, but it is see through enough for easy visualisation of the tell tails as well as obstacles on the other side of the rig.
Some sailors have stated they have issues with the glare off the glossy finish on bright sunny days.
Other sailors have commented that they have difficulty seeing the sail's shape due to the relatively high degree of transparency offered by the film. This can be mitigated by the use of twist stripes.
So please be certain this sail film suits you before choosing the option.
That said, it is the favorite film used by Nick Jerwood in the DF95 class for many of his race wins.
The degree of transparency will reduce with time, it will appear milkier the older the sail gets, especially if stored wet. However, its performance will not degrade significantly.

Available in both 35 microns and 50 microns.
Similar to the standard satin option but takes on a wet look when wet, see the water drops on the sail film in the photo above. This film is more prone to marks from residue on the sail than the other two films due to the rougher frosted finish to the surface of the film.
The frosted finish breaks surface tension allowing water to disperse and dry more quickly than on the other two sail films. While difficult to prove, indications are that this effect is likely to keep the weight of the sail plus any water on them, less than either the translucent or satin films while in use during wet or windy (splashing) conditions.
35 microns is highly recommended for DF65 A+ and A rig sails.

Available in both 35 microns, 50 microns and 75 micron.
Only consider 75 micron for DF95 C and D rigs when used regularly in aggressively windy conditions. Otherwise, 50 microns should be considered for those rigs.
A great choice for any rig on any DF class.
35 microns is highly recommended for DF65 A+ and A rig sails.
