If two colours are selected i.e. primary and secondary colours, both colors will be used in an alternating pattern across the sail with the primary colour being more prominent.

The jib luff pocket can be constructed from the body of the sail, so integral to the body of the sail using the sail film of the body of the sail which is folded over to form the jib luff pocket.
This provides an opportunity for a wider jib luff pocket, by a millimeter or two, for easier insertion of the jib luff wire and also offers a firm and fair jib luff. It is the default choice for NJSails.
However, for those that prefer a coloured luff for personalisation, taped jib luff is offered as an option. Please make your preference clear on the order form.

Vinyl sail numbers will not be used by NJSails unless requested as a customisation.
NJSails apply sail numbers to DF class approved size and spacing.
Both sail numbers and twist stripes are applied in black permanent ink (using Pental N50 and N60 pens and appropriate stencils). This provides the best finish on the sail with the least chance of distortion of the sail by the sail numbers. This is most important on 35 micron sails which would otherwise be thinner than the vinyl typically used for sail numbers.

Tell tales are provided as standard for the jib only.
Tell tales are from 6mm wide magnetic tape for good visibility.
If any other tell tales are required then include the request in the customisation section of the order form.
